Frequently Asked questions

Where are you located?

I am based in Atoka, OK. However, I help people in Atoka County, Bryan County, and Coal County with various Health Insurance plans and Medicare. I do not have a physical office location, but my clients usually meet with me at my table in Pruett's Atoka or Walgreens, Durant. I also meet my clients in coffee shops upon request.

Which Medicare Advantage Plan is best in Atoka County? Coal County? Bryan County?

I hear this question a lot, but here's the thing: Medicare Plans and Health Insurance isn't one size fits all. So what are your needs? What's important to you? Once you know the answers to those questions, we can go from there to find a Medicare plan that works for your unique need and budget.

How often should I review my plan?

I recommend reviewing your Medicare insurance plan annually. Life is dynamic! Our needs change, our circumstances change, and even what's offered in the market can change. An annual review does not mean that you should change your plan yearly, but it allows you to be proactive and look at your plan to see if it still works adequately for you or if there are any potential gaps in coverage. That way, you can safeguard your health, your assets, and have peace of mind.

How much does it cost to work with you?

My services are always free! Healthcare already has a cost, working with an agent shouldn't cost you anything. You might be thinking, what's the catch? No catch. I am compensated by the insurance companies I represent. Even if you called an insurance company directly, the employees are still getting paid by them, of course. So why not work with an agent that represents multiple companies?

Do you only help with Medicare Advantage?

No! I believe it's important for my clients to have a choice. I also help clients who want Medicare Supplement or those who have original Medicare and want a Prescription Drug Plan. I also guide my clients on how and when to sign up for Medicare Part A and Part B (also called Original Medicare). View my Plans page to read about other health insurance coverage I offer.

What Health Insurance options are available for individuals and families under 65?

Everyone needs health insurance, not just those who are eligible for Medicare! So whether you are single, married, or have a family I can help you find coverage. For individuals and families under 65, I help them find comprehensive health insurance plans on the "marketplace". These plans cater to your specific needs, providing coverage for preventative care, prescription medications, emergency services, and mental health support.

Whether you're exploring individual options or family plans, I'll guide you through the process, helping you understand your choices and ensure you find a health insurance solution that you are happy with. Feel free to contact me for a consultation tailored to your unique situation.

I completed a request for a consultation, when will I hear from you?
